THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE
SOLO EXHIBITION DOR BLAYER | Opening 23 May 2025
In this solo exhibition, artist Dor Blayer presents a series of woodcarving works. Originally intended as printing blocks, the carved wood panels themselves are brought to the forefront, shifting the focus from the print to the printmaker.
By doing so, Blayer emphasizes the materiality of the wood and the physical labor embedded in each piece—where the medium becomes the message. Through his carvings, he weaves a narrative of migration, displacement, constant search, and questions of identity.
The exhibition is viewable 24/7 through the DORIS windows, inviting passersby to engage with the work at any time.

Best friends July and Dor bring you Good Lesbian Bad Lesbian, an unfiltered, witty, and unapologetically queer podcast. It’s part chit-chat, part chaos, and entirely unserious. Expect sharp takes, messy stories, and deep discussions about absolutely nothing important. One’s the “good” lesbian, the other’s the “bad” one (you decide). Together, they navigate life, love, and the weirdest parts of being queer—almost always with a drink in hand.
